Garrison Brothers Distillery is a whiskey distillery located deep in the heart of Texas in Hye. Hye is nestled in the Texas Hill Country where the ground is rich for grains to grow freely. Garrison Brothers is nestled between many wineries. Garrison Brothers was launched in 2006 and was the first distillery to be granted a distiller's permit for bourbon outside of Kentucky and Tennessee which makes it the oldest legal bourbon distillery in Texas. Their whiskey portfolio includes a Small Batch, Single Barrel, Single Barrel Barrel Proof, Cowboy (barrel proof), this Honey Dew (honey infused), Estacado (port finish) and Laguna Madre (limousine oak), Balmorhea (double oaked), and new Rye whiskey. They use different size barrels when aging their whiskey to account for the hot Texas climate.
